What versions do people play on?

Hey Snapcraft,

im just curious. i play on the survival hub of the snapcraft server and i use the most up to date version of minecraft. but what is everyone else doing? i know the server is backwards compatible with other versions so im just wondering what everyone else uses for survival, and other hubs

I personally use 1.8

We suggest using 1.8.9 or 1.12.2 on the server, both works just as good.

As Ash said, 1.12.2 is the recommended version that we advise you to play on, and is what I personally use also. A lot of people use 1.8.9; more so for pvp reasons, but yeah personally I use 1.12.2 and have no issues with it

1.8.9, I hate anything higher because of the pvp update

1.8.9 almost all the time but 1.12.2 isn’t bad for playing prison as it’s mostly non-pvp

i use 1.8.9 optifine i recommend u use optifine on any version of minecraft it improves over all performance ND FPS boost x2

Was running on 1.15.2 for a bit then jumped back down to 1.12.2 for smoothness and compatibility with my cinematic mod lol
